Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PDF Sigma ("App"), a mobile PDF utility developed by Capricorn Labs ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PDF Sigma, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which explains how information associated with the App is handled.

PDF Sigma is a mobile application designed to provide PDF utilities such as creating, converting, merging, splitting, reordering, compressing, viewing, protecting, and otherwise working with PDF documents, depending on the features available in the installed version of the App.

PDF Sigma does not require users to create an account or sign in to use its core functionality.

PDF processing is designed to occur on your device. PDF Sigma does not provide cloud storage for your documents as part of its core functionality.

You may use PDF Sigma for lawful personal, educational, professional, or business purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you.

• You must use the App only for lawful purposes.
• You must not use the App to facilitate unlawful activity.
• You must not attempt to interfere with, disable, or compromise the App or its security.
• You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App except where permitted by applicable law.

You retain ownership of the PDF files, images, documents, text, and other content that you select or process using PDF Sigma.

You are solely responsible for the content you process using the App and for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to use and process that content.

PDF Sigma does not claim ownership of your documents. The App is a tool for processing files on your device.

Because files are processed and saved on your device, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents. We cannot guarantee that a file will always be recoverable after processing, conversion, deletion, corruption, device failure, or other technical problems.

You agree not to use PDF Sigma in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Prohibited uses include, where applicable:

• Using the App to create, modify, or distribute content for unlawful purposes.
• Infringing another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights.
• Attempting to damage, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the App or related services.
• Circumventing technical restrictions or security mechanisms of the App.

PDF Sigma, including its software, user interface, design, branding, logos, graphics, text, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Capricorn Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose on devices that you own or control.

You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its proprietary materials except where expressly permitted by applicable law or with our written permission.

PDF Sigma may use third-party services to support certain functions of the App, including analytics, crash reporting, and advertising.

Depending on the version of the App and services enabled, these may include Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob.

These third-party services are operated independently by their respective providers and may collect information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

Advertising

If advertisements are displayed in PDF Sigma, advertisements may be provided by Google AdMob or its advertising partners. You agree not to intentionally click advertisements, generate fraudulent impressions, manipulate advertising systems, or otherwise interfere with legitimate advertising activity.

Information about data associated with advertising and third-party services is described in the Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep PDF Sigma functional and available, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or version of Android.

We may release updates, improvements, security fixes, feature changes, or compatibility changes from time to time. Certain features may be modified, replaced, suspended, or discontinued.

You are responsible for keeping the App updated when updates are made available through the applicable app store.

PDF Sigma is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that PDF Sigma will meet every user's requirements or that every PDF file will process successfully. PDF documents can contain different structures, fonts, encryption methods, embedded objects, or other characteristics that may affect processing results.

You should review important documents after processing and maintain backups of files that are important to you.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights or legal protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Capricorn Labs and its developers, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, PDF Sigma.

This includes, to the extent permitted by law, loss of data, loss of files, business interruption, loss of profits, or other losses resulting from the use of the App or reliance on its processing results.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to PDF Sigma, applicable requirements, or our services.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Where appropriate, additional notice may be provided through the App or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of PDF Sigma after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We may discontinue or suspend access to the App or particular features where reasonably necessary, including for security, maintenance, legal, or operational reasons.
